Good Morning Bloggers and Blogland, and fellow Chit Chatters! Welcome to Chit Chat Coffee Shoppe page for LilacsNDreams. So happy to see you dropping by. Hope everyone had a super Christams, and a great Happy New Year! Hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their new year, and it has been good this first week. WOW! First week of the new year 2012 has already come to us, gone by, and we are into another week. Time just flies don't it? LOL:)

I have been roaming my stores, moving inventory from one to another, busy with things around house with all the workers here, and some days having a hard time keeping up. This weekend was quiet, nice out, moved things down stairs to make room for workers, boxed some things for donations, and then delivered the donated items. I know as time goes along I will probably change my mind about some items to keep, and donate them. Just a wonderful circle of the Yes, and Nos..LOL:) 

Hope this finds everyone doing well, and having a great morning enjoying your Cup of Joe, or drink of choice. Well, it is late, and I have yet to get some sleep. Good Morning Good Evening Havin a Cup of Joe. Welcome to the Chit Chat Coffee Shoppe. Glad to see you here, and that you could stop by for a visit too. 

I have to know...how is the weather where you are? Here, it has been cold, and yes it is winter time now. No snow yet...hoping that holds off for a while, but cold it has been. We have had some really nice sunny days, and thankful for that. It helps with the contractors that started on the house the week of Thanksgiving. 

They showed up on Monday, and started by taking the siding off the house and the garage, put a smaller window in an upstairs room that will be converted to a bathroom soon, closed off a door in our bedroom...there is no porch to step out onto, at the last minute decided to cut a whole in living room wall and added 2 new windows there, have the frame work for a porch on the front of the house, put a new door at the entrance to the house and a porch will also go there, and a new entrance door was added to the garage as well. Whew! 

Got wood in the yard to put up on the house, got the rolls of insulated plastic waiting to go on the house, and finally the siding can go on. But....with it being sooo cold at night would sure be great to have that insulation put on the exterior of the house...like yesterday. Know what I mean?:) Hopefully tomorrow they can maybe start. It's been a bit drafty in here at times. For now windows will get caulked, and then this spring some new windows are being considered too.
