Welcome to Chit Chat Coffee Shoppe Blog Page! Glad to have you here, and happy that you could stop by for a visit, and a virtual cup of coffee. It's cold here, and the coffee is good to keep us warm right now. Although it is evening here, and I will probably make some hot cocoa I found in the cupboard, and maybe a few mini marshmellows too. Hmm...and warm!

Here we go into the weekend, and we have gotten through our second week of the year too! Whew! Time just flies sometimes, don't it? Soon we all will be rushing to get our taxes done, and preparing for the change of the season too. Hopefully it comes a bit sooner this year than it did last year. Would be nice with the great winter weather we have been having so far here.

Good Morning Bloggers and Blogland, and fellow Chit Chatters! Welcome to Chit Chat Coffee Shoppe page for LilacsNDreams. So happy to see you dropping by. Hope everyone had a super Christams, and a great Happy New Year! Hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their new year, and it has been good this first week. WOW! First week of the new year 2012 has already come to us, gone by, and we are into another week. Time just flies don't it? LOL:)

I have been roaming my stores, moving inventory from one to another, busy with things around house with all the workers here, and some days having a hard time keeping up. This weekend was quiet, nice out, moved things down stairs to make room for workers, boxed some things for donations, and then delivered the donated items. I know as time goes along I will probably change my mind about some items to keep, and donate them. Just a wonderful circle of the Yes, and Nos..LOL:) 

Hope this finds everyone doing well, and having a great morning enjoying your Cup of Joe, or drink of choice. Well, it is late, and I have yet to get some sleep. Happy Holidays to All Have a Cup of Joe

Hello, and Welcome to Chit Chat Coffee Shoppe. How is everyone doing? Hope all has been well with all of you! Busy, busy, busy time of year isn't it? Days are getting shorter, and not just enough time to get it all done. Friday I was running around trying to take care of home, me, son, hubby, and a sister who likes me when she needs something....LOL:) Normal family life, right? Then, after doing some of those things trying to take care of me, and my stores that I am selling with online. Not only am I trying to narrow my inventory, but I also trying to find time to repurpose some projects I have here looking at me too. I have some pieces done that need finishing touches of ribbon, some mod podge, paper, and so on. Just not enough time in the day right now. 

So, to relax a little bit on Friday with running I grabbed me a Spiced Chai Tea, and loved it! Hmm, Hmm, Good! Warm, just enough flavor, and hit the spot as I drove down the road again.

Good Morning Good Evening Havin a Cup of Joe. Welcome to the Chit Chat Coffee Shoppe. Glad to see you here, and that you could stop by for a visit too. 

I have to know...how is the weather where you are? Here, it has been cold, and yes it is winter time now. No snow yet...hoping that holds off for a while, but cold it has been. We have had some really nice sunny days, and thankful for that. It helps with the contractors that started on the house the week of Thanksgiving. 

They showed up on Monday, and started by taking the siding off the house and the garage, put a smaller window in an upstairs room that will be converted to a bathroom soon, closed off a door in our bedroom...there is no porch to step out onto, at the last minute decided to cut a whole in living room wall and added 2 new windows there, have the frame work for a porch on the front of the house, put a new door at the entrance to the house and a porch will also go there, and a new entrance door was added to the garage as well. Whew! 

Got wood in the yard to put up on the house, got the rolls of insulated plastic waiting to go on the house, and finally the siding can go on. But....with it being sooo cold at night would sure be great to have that insulation put on the exterior of the house...like yesterday. Know what I mean?:) Hopefully tomorrow they can maybe start. It's been a bit drafty in here at times. For now windows will get caulked, and then this spring some new windows are being considered too.

Ok, time to go warm my hands a little bit now. I do thank ya'll for stopping by, and checking on things. Don't forget to leave a note saying Hi so I know you were here. Whew! Where did this month go? Really has gone by, hasn't it? Holidays can be like that. Sometimes I complain because I don't get done all I want to, but yet it is good as there is time spent with family, and friends during these special times. 

I hope that everyone has some where they can go, some where they can be, someone they can share with, and pray that no one has to be alone on this day of celebration. I wish you all well, enjoy, have fun, and please be safe too! HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, and excellent time with trick-or-treating too. I would soooo loved to have done some things I had planned on this past weekend, but have been home sick. Yeah, over a week now, and still cannot quit this darn coughing yet. I so had some big plans for a "Girls Weekend" this first weekend of November with some friends, and yesterday I finally had to break down and inform them I would not be able to make it. Was very disappointed as it would have been a blast to go! Friends coming together in a different area, spending a couple of nights of doing nothing, thrifting, shopping, fleaing, and whatever we could find to do, and just have some good old fun! I will be thinking of them, and wishing them well as they journey out. Hopefully we can plan this again for us to have fun....spring? maybe? 

Yeah, getting cold here, leaves falling, NO snow but sometime it will happen, furnaces running, and that time of year when a person hybernates. Now.....if I lived down south I could at least do a little bit more as I would not have the snow to fight with. But, gotta do what you can for where you are, right?

Well, folks, time to take some meds. I held off a bit today so I could get on this wonderful computer, and get a few things done. Starting to get tired, and coughing....I think I grew another lung some where with all of the coughing. Still sitting up to sleep, but if I can start sleeping normally that way...without waking up coughing....I hopefully can lie down soon:)
