Good Day to everyone, and Welcome to Chit Chat Coffee Shoppe! Love to have you here, and glad you visited. Sorry, again I have been behind with this particular page on my blog, but check out my other pages with thrifting, and second treasures. You will see I have been slowly working with those, adding some pictures, and sharing with everyone my treasures found lately. Also, a glimpse of completed projects I have been working with, or some that are a working progress too. 

I do hope everyone has had a very enjoyable summer. Most schools have started, or are soon starting...that time of year again. Labor Day will soon be here, and where is the time going? Seems like I have sooo much to do yet, and very little time. I have some painting I would like to accomplish yet before the weather changes, and hopefully I can get some of it done yet.

Good Morning, and WELCOME to Chit Chat Coffee Shoppe! Hope you got a good strong cup of joe in your hand, and ready for the day! Ummm....I have not been to bed yet, and if I don't get there soon, I might just look like that little guy above....yikes! That is scarey. 

We are now going into the weekend, and I hope all of you will be able to enjoy it with all you have planned, or intend to do. I never make plans anymore. Hubby gets home for 1-2 nights out of the weekend, and is gone again. Little while longer, and schedules will soon change again. That means winter is here at that time, or on it's way...urgh! I so do not like the snow anymore!

Anyway, maybe later today...Friday....I can sneak away for a bit, and get some thrifting done for a few pieces/items to work with. Got the glue, should get a little more paint and some primer, AND some mod podge too. Got some ideas for that use too. Anyway, visit my other blog pages from the top tabs when you can. Good Morning With LilacsNDreams Chit Chat Coffee Shoppe

Good Morning Everyone, and Welcome to LilacsNDreams Chit Chat Coffee Shoppe! Glad to see you here, and look forward to hearing from you as well. 


Busy, busy, busy for many right now. Last minute vacations, the rush for school shopping, preparing for getting kids started with school, and also preparing some for their next step they are taking in life with going to college. 


Past couple of weeks I have been slowly working on repurposing some products that I have gotten from thrift stores, found at sales, or some of it comes from some of my own inventory of things too. I have been enjoying myself with this as it will be a new step for me to add with my sales of vintage, and collectibles that I have done since 2004. I am nervous, and also excited as I am enjoying what I am doing, and hope things work out for all of it too. There are so many talented people out there doing this, and I only hope I can do as well as some of them have done for themselves too.

Good Morning Everyone as we head into the weekend. WooHoo! Wishing everyone a super weekend. Hope the week went well for all of you, and that it also is ending well too. That time of year school soon starting. Trying to get the last of the vacations in for family and friends, fairs, flea markets, outings, camping, and then the wonderful shopping for school supplies and clothing. Also, some are heading off to college taking a big step into their new lives. Hope everyone got their favorite cup of drink this morning. I wish you all well.

Good Morning at LilacsNDreams Chit Chat Coffee Shoppe

Hello, and Welcome to LilacsNDreams Chit Chat Coffee Shoppe! Glad to see ya'll here!:)

So, what has everyone been up to lately? Me? Well, started working on some projects...so I was gluing, searching for the right color of ribbon/material to use to make a bow on an item I have completed. But, after looking at it, and picturing it, I decided it needs just a little touch to it. So, hopefully I found something to work, and match up, and to give it that "touch" I think it needs:)

Other than that not too much of anything else really. I have been spending time with a social network that has a new platform, and is open to everyone too. That place is called Treasure Seekers Unite. Just a small place to get together to converse, and share things:)

Good Morning, and Welcome to LilacsNDreams Chit~Chat Coffee Shoppe! Glad to see you here, and hope all are doing well. 

Whew! I don't know how it has been for all of you, but we have had 98+ degree weather here, HOT, Humid, with no kind of a breeze at all. Course, if there was a wind, I suspect it would be hot too:) 

Been busy babysitting grand baby a little bit. Had her Saturday night, watched her for a few hours Monday night, and she just left me again a little bit ago. I am beat! Not really from her, but being outside mowing kind of relaxes you enough to sleep....which I have issues with at night. So, was hoping to sleep tonight. But, I have a daughter who has been really good with last minute notices of babysitting. I might have to say No one of these times so I can have some Me time to do my thing, catch up on things, and get ready to work with some more projects. Need to get a few things done with painting, gluing, creating, and a little more creating. Season will be changing, and time to get some of it done to get it listed:)

Well, I do hope this finds everyone having a splendid morning, day, evening....whenever you were able to stop by. One good thing....shoppe is open 24 hours here:) Take care everyone. 

Good Saturday Morning from LilacsNDreams Chit Chat Coffee Shoppe

Welcome to LilacsNDreams Chit~Chat Coffee Shoppe! Glad to see you stopping by, and visiting with me this morning. 

My night ended really good last night. I went over to see a friend of mine I had not seen for a very long time. Was just a pop in visit, but it was good to see her, share some things, and check up on things too. Always good to see a friend, and share some of your excitement of things you have been doing, or that they have been doing too. Time goes to fast, and never enough time for everything, is there? At least we seen each other, got to say Hi, and check up on what we have all been doing with ourselves. 

I am proud of her. She showed an interest with taking pictures, and being creative with photography, doing CDs, and so on. She is a self learner, and now has her own brick and mortar store, and is doing well with things. I am happy for her. I had told her some things of what I had been doing, and how I was changing things, and doing something that I am having fun with, and enjoying. She liked to hear it, and commented I was doing something I liked doing, and was good with. Now....to get some more pieces done, and start getting them out there to sell:)

I hope this finds everyone doing well this Saturday morning with a cup of your favorite wake up drink. Stay cool, and hope it is not too hot for where you all are at.
